In our Strategic Plan, we present four key initiatives. In one of those areas, we commit to taking a leadership role in integrating workforce development with initiatives that support business growth and success.
One way to achieve that goal is to convene businesses in targeted growth industries to help build and sustain workforce pipelines, stay updated on employer needs and trends, and ensure effective utilization of state and regional workforce development resources.
Two industries that the Workforce Board is currently engaging through facilitated convenings are Outdoor Recreation and Manufacturing.
