PV Regional Planning

The Pioneer Valley conducts regional planning through a collaborative process led by the MassHire Franklin Hampshire and Hampden County Workforce Boards. A CORE Planning Team—comprised of leaders from education, workforce development, economic development, planning agencies, employers, and state agencies—meets regularly to set priorities, review data, and guide strategy. The process is supported by three work groups (Educator, Employer Advisory, and Data Team) that contribute insights on training capacity, industry needs, and labor market trends. Together, these partners develop and implement shared goals, strategies, and metrics that align workforce services with regional economic needs and employer demand.
